Share with us, and everyone visiting this site, your words of support. Email your comments to ak@boomart.net Jan. 15 -- Dear Kevin, Jeff and 'The Team', I just want to offer my sincere support and congratulations to: yourselves, your family, your friends and all your many supporters for what you have all already accomplished. We all have dreams big and small and finding the courage to earnestly engage in the pursuit of our dreams, refusing to let any obstacle stand in our way, is to be truly living life. The coasttocostride is an extraordinary dream which many generous, hard working individuals are making into a reality. It is wonderful and inspirational to watch (on the net) as you and your 'team' strive to accomplish the incredible goals you have set for yourselves. What you are all doing for yourselves and a great many others by following your dream is truly worthy of our deep respect. It is just a small contribution to your efforts, but I would like to offer to you literally the shirt off my back after one of the two Canadian rounds of the 2002 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. My jersey this season is a very special one to me, as the Trek/VW team has custom made me a beautiful National Championship jersey. The World Championship jersey is wonderful of course, but I am really proud to be able to wear the 'maple leaf' in my 2002 campaign on the world cup circuit. There are only 10 of these jerseys being made! I hope that I can give to you a nice momento from a winning race (and if by some great fate I should win both races I will give you two jerseys!). Remember I am a size small, so the jersey would not fit Kevin or Jeff (though after burning through a zillion calories it might!). Might I suggest you start some sort of bidding war for my jersey? Good luck, and I hope someone gives you a nice big donation for your causes in return for my sweaty jersey!!! Cheers to all!
