Who would have thought that the simple idea to ride across America to raise some awareness and donations for two cancer charities, could turn into such a great experience for us as riders, and hopefully for many of the people who have been following us.
Our
3,000 mile journey from San Diego, California through Arizona, New Mexico,
Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and finally through Florida ending
in the great city of St. Augustine quite frankly exceeded our expectations.
We had many highs, and very few lows and the lows we did have where all
related to learning experiences as we pushed our physical limits. We grew
as a team and got more deeply involved emotionally into the cause of eradicating
cancer than we thought possible.
