Although there
still was some fairly large climbs, there was also some great flats and
rolling sections.

Some of the animals along the way [Brooklyn this one is for you!]

We were on
rolling, rural backroads for most of the day and saw some pretty neat
old buildings

Conversing
on the route. We went farther than planned today so we could get closer
to Austin and our meeting with the Lance Armstrong Foundation and local
media on the 17th

We'd
like to thank the Holiday Inn in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico
who graciously gave us free accomodation after our January 10th ride.
We'd
like to thank the Super 8 in Silver City, New Mexico who graciously
gave us free accomodation after our January 9th ride.
We'd
like to thank the Best Western in Arizona, as well as in Texas,
who graciously gave us free accomodations after out rides.
Some
of the cool support things that are happening along the ride.
Many local
newspaper stories along the way.
2. A camera crew from the TV program "Ride Guide" on Outdoor Life Network
with us for both events. They will be making a TV segment on our two events.
3. Providing daily updates on the website including outline of what we
did and digital pictures along the way.
4. Most important we will be highlighting on our support vehicles and
on our website the person we are riding for during that day.
