Daily inspiration
Good morning Coast to Coast Team: The last day and we can't believe it is here. Time for a celebration. My thought for today is called "Returning Home", which I am sure we as families have been anticipating for awhile. We can't wait to hear all the stories. Here is your inspirational thought for today.
We are all ships returning home laden with life's experiences, memories or work, good times and sorrows, each with its special cargo; And it is our common lot to show the marks of the voyage, here a shattered prow, there a patched rigging, and every hulk turned black, by the increasing batter of the restless wave.
May we be thankful for fair weather and smooth seas. and in times of storm have the courage and the patience that mark every good mariner; and , overall, may we have the cheering hope of joyful meetings; as our ship at lasts drop anchor in the still water of the eternal harbour.
Your bicycles are very much like these ships. You and your bikes have spent countless hours riding, mapping many miles. Thank you Jeff and Kevin for sharing this amazing experience with so many people. I am going to miss this adventure, but I look forward to hearing and recounting them for years to come. You have made many memories for many people. Thanks for sharing.
