Type of Cancer: stomach,thyroid, non hodgkins lymphoma

Originally diagnosed with stomach cancer at 64, Ed has been a cancer survivor for over 15 years. Along the way he has also encountered and overcome battles with thyroid and non hodgkins lymphoma. Thanks to early detection, great doctors, and faith he is a very active and healthy father of three and grandfather of 5! The doctors at Mass General, Tufts, Yale, and Meriden Hospital have been fantastic, and believe he is an unbelievable case – it is rare for someone to have so many different types of cancer and through surgery and careful patient care, he has been able to avoid chemotherapy in all of these cases. Dad has been always been dedicated to his family first and we are so lucky that he is still here for us all.

He is also a US Navy veteran of WWII and Korea.
