back
to dedications
Fred Ward
My father lost his battle with prostate cancer
15 years ago at the early
age of 68. He fought in WWII so that we could have our freedom.
May you lead the charge so that we can one day be free of cancer.
As you ride through the Manitoba prairie, engulfing the sweet
smell of
clover and canola, where my father meticulously farmed for 40
years, may you enjoy a typical, north-westerly breeze to help
you on your way. (and hopefully stay at least one bike-length
ahead of those mosquitos.!! :-)
