Lorraine Isabel Dinsdale of St. Sauveur Des Monts, Quebec Canada

submitted by her grand-daughter, Leslie

She was diagnosed with lung cancer in December 2000. She passed away on January 31, 2001. She had only gone through with two treatments of chemo when she had a stroke. She never left the hosiptal after the stroke. She was my grandma and a wonderful lady. I miss her every day. Love, you Gram.

Leslie

Highlights:
When she was in the hospital, she would constantly give me the thumbs up that she was going to get better and be able to come visit me in Texas the following Christmas. My mom brought her from Texas a little "turbine" as she called it to wear to cover her head when she lost her hair. She was always thanking the nurses and wanted my mom and I to bring her them choclates to say thank you for taking such good care of her.

Lowlights:
When she first found out that she had cancer, she told my dad that she didn’t want to do chemo, because of her age. My dad flew up from Texas to convince her otherwise. She wanted to give up, but my dad wouldn’t let her.
