Beloved husband and best friend of Vivian (Valentine) Steffan for 48 years. A fantastic father to Val, Laurie and Christopher. He saw eight grandchildren and enjoyed every minute of life.

He was a great sportsman either participating or following and especially loved his golf. He had lung cancer in 1988 and came through well. Unfortunately it returned in 2000 and things did not go so well. He fought very hard and left his family with the words "BE STRONG", and we are trying.

Sil had a great appreciation of music, more so to Jazz. His hymn at the funeral mass was "When The Saints go Marching In", and that was him, fun, uplifting and positive.
Thank you for dedicating this ride to this loyal, courageous, loving man. His spirit and memories will go on forever.
