Dedication for: Vi Correy

It is always hard to say goodbye…

Vi could hug better than anyone else. Her face would light up into a great big smile, her eyes would twinkle, she would give a little wiggle, she would lift up her arms and then she would nestle in for a long and loving hug. Vi loved people - Her family, her extended family…she loved us all. She would listen, advise, and be there for us. Most of all, she believed in our dreams and goals. Cancer took her life in December of 2002.

She was there when I first rode across Canada at age 13, and she is with me now. I ride with the Coast to Coast group to celebrate her life.

Keep a watchful eye on me Vi, there are great things ahead!
