Personal participation is the root of this campaign. In 2002, half of the funds raised came from individuals. Like the ride itself, each of us can do a share of the work by contributing and, in so doing, make the journey against cancer a little easier for everyone. Contributions, regardless of the amount, are appreciated.

On June 13 at Kitslano Park in Vancouver BC, Wendy Slavin, SVP, Branch Banking, BC & Northern Territories, CIBC, presented a cheque to the Coast-to-Coast team in the amount of $75,000 to initiate corporate donations in support of the Coast-to-Coast Ride Against Cancer. We are grateful for CIBC's generosity.

Your company's financial contribution should be made payable directly to either charity but delivered to our office. We prefer to accumulate the donations so we, and the charities, can assess the value of our effort for future campaigns.
